Our journey did not begin in a corporate office. It began in the weaving clusters and printing villages of Bharat, where craft is not a trend, but a way of life. We saw artisans creating extraordinary textiles with patience, skill, and memory passed down through generations. In those spaces, we were reminded that true beauty is not mass produced. It is made slowly, thoughtfully, and by hand.

Heritage Pitara was born from the belief that Bharat's living traditions deserve more than preservation in museums or memory. Founded by three women entrepreneurs, Heritage Pitara is our way of carrying heritage forward with dignity, relevance, and purpose.

My journey with Heritage Pitara is deeply personal.

As an Army veteran, I was shaped by service, discipline, and a deep respect for the essence of what makes our nation unique. Over time, I came to feel that one part of that essence lives in the hands of our artisans — in their courtyards, on their looms, and in the traditions they carry forward every day. Heritage Pitara is, in many ways, my second tour of duty. It is my way of serving something that must not be forgotten.

For me, this journey is about ensuring that "Handmade in Bharat" remains a mark of authenticity, dignity, and enduring value. Every piece we bring to our customers carries more than craft; it carries memory, legacy, and the work of human hands.

From my years in the Army Marksmanship Unit to my work as a supply chain specialist, I learned that excellence is built through discipline, consistency, and attention to detail. At Heritage Pitara, I bring that same mindset to the journey of every piece — from the artisan's workbench to the customer's doorstep.

I often think of this as the supply chain of tradition: a process that must remain seamless, transparent, and respectful of both craft and customer. For us, quality is not an afterthought. It is part of the promise.
