Refund policy

At Heritage Pitara, every product is carefully curated, quality-checked, and securely packed prior to dispatch. As our products are handcrafted and made using traditional techniques, we follow a strict no-return and no-exchange policy, except in cases where the product is received in a damaged condition.

No Returns / No Exchanges

Once an order has been dispatched, returns or exchanges are not accepted.

Customers are advised to carefully review product descriptions, fabric details, measurements, and images before placing an order.


Damaged Product Claims

In the unlikely event that a product is received in a damaged condition, customers must follow the process outlined below:

1.⁠ ⁠Mandatory Unboxing Video

A clear and continuous video of the package opening must be recorded within 24 hours of delivery.

The video should clearly show the sealed package, the opening process, and the damaged product.


2.⁠ ⁠Reporting Timeline

The unboxing video and complaint details must be shared within 48 hours of delivery via email at support@heritagepitara.in.

Claims raised after 48 hours or without an unboxing video will not be eligible for review.


3.⁠ ⁠Verification & Return Process

Upon verification of the damage, our team will share the return instructions and warehouse address.

Customers will be requested to courier the damaged product back in its original condition and packaging.

4.⁠ ⁠Refund Eligibility

Once the damaged product is received and inspected at our warehouse:

The product value, and

The return courier charges incurred by the customer
will be refunded.

5.⁠ ⁠Refund Timeline

Refunds are processed within 72 working hours of receipt of the damaged product.

Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment used at checkout.

Processing timelines may vary depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider.


Non-Eligible Cases

Refunds or replacements will not be provided in the following cases:

Minor colour variations due to lighting, photography, or screen resolution

Natural irregularities inherent to handwoven, hand-dyed, or hand-printed products

Damage caused due to misuse, improper handling, or wear and tear after delivery

Products purchased during sale or promotional offers (unless received damaged)

Consumer Protection Act Compliance

This policy is formulated in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable rules.

Nothing in this policy shall limit or exclude consumer rights that cannot be lawfully excluded under Indian law. Customers retain all statutory rights available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

In case of any grievance or dispute, customers are encouraged to contact Heritage Pitara at support@heritagepitara.in to allow us an opportunity to resolve the issue amicably. If unresolved, customers may approach appropriate consumer dispute redressal forums as per applicable law.

All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located within India.

Orders are dispatched within 24–48 working hours from the date of order confirmation.

Dispatch timelines may be extended during sales periods, exhibitions, festivals, or unforeseen circumstances.


Delivery Timeline

Delivery timelines vary based on customer location and courier partner operations.

Estimated delivery timelines are communicated once the order is dispatched.

Heritage Pitara shall not be liable for delays caused by courier partners, natural calamities, strikes, governmental restrictions, or circumstances beyond our control.


Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, are clearly displayed at checkout before order confirmation.


Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details.

Heritage Pitara shall not be responsible for non-delivery, delay, or additional charges arising due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.


Order Tracking

Tracking details are shared via email or SMS once the order has been dispatched.
